The Lady And The Tiger Analysis
In the story of The Lady And The Tiger ,there is a semi barbaric king that has no descriptive name. He ruled a kingdom of havoc yet beauty. In this kingdom there is also an arena, in this arena people were judged by chance. There are two doors that have one thing inside each door. One has a lady, and one has a tiger. If you chose the one with the lady in it you would get married on the spot despite your other wife, and would have to start a new life with new children. This is what I think the king and the kingdom may be in real life and how this story may have actually happened back in the olden days.
His actions may have to be one of the best ways to find out who the king may have been based on. And one way is his actions. In my opinion he was a fair king, even though he was crazy and killed possibly allot of people, he was really fair in his judgments. But not as fair, he sent them to an arena to chose their fate. Either be married on the spot and live a longer life. Or die right where you stand by being eaten by a hungry lion. The one problem was that the people that really deserved to die had a 50% chance to also live longer than what he deserved. I also think that the author also tried to show …show more content…
But she did hint the 2 possible endings in the end of the book. One was that the princess told the knight the door with the lion and he chose the opposite door. And the other one was the princess told him to open the one with the lion in it and he opened it and died. In my opinion I don't like either of the endings but i guess that's what you get when you have a jealous, dumb, bratty princess that is obsessed with this brave knight. How ever what i think may happen is… she points to the door with the lady in it and at night she kills the lady and runs away with the knight and live happily ever after… THE END. and that's is my opinion on the king and how the story played
