The movie “The Man in The Gray Flannel Suit” was about Tom Rath, living in Connecticut and commuted to work every day in Manhattan for a charitable organization receiving a low salary $ (7000) per year. He had married with Betsy and they had three children. The money was a bit tight. Tom was having difficulty to support his family on his salary. Betsy was always pressured him to seek a higher-paying job and when the opportunity arose, he applied for a public relations job with a major television network soon after, he is summoned to a job interview where tom was sequestered in a room and given one hour to write his autobiography in which he had to explain "the most significant thing about me." Tom served the US army in world war II as a captain. During his war services he killed 17 people (including his best friend by accident). Because of his long commute to work Tom was reminiscing about the war. After world war II he was still haunted by the violence and the men he killed. When Tom was inheriting his grandmother's house Edward (her former servant) claimed that Tom’s grandmother bequeathed her house to him but he forgot to use document. After threatening a lawsuit, Edward and Tom met at Bernstein's office, where the judge Bernstein scrutinized a letter purportedly written by Tom's grandmother, bequeathing Edward her house. When the judge questioned Edward's integrity and accused him of padding household bills and possibly forging the letter, Edward indignantly stalks out. During the world war II the Tom had affair an Italian girl named Maria. Tom kept affair and the resulting child a secret from his wife Betsy.
