Not many people think that they are going to get in a plane crash and that they are going to get saved by a man in the water. Well in the article The Man In The Water by Roger Rosenblatt, he explained how one man sacrificed his own life to help others. Also in his article he explains how the man in the water didn’t think that he was going to save the other passengers lives over his own. Roger explains how this crash was not very significant except for the man who saved others lives over his own. For example, one way Rosenblatt make a comparison to the man and nature is when the plane crashes into the bridge he says there was two forms of nature they were the elements and the human character. The elements of nature is how the Potomac river was very cold from the weather. The other for of nature is human character this is shown by the man in the water who would save others over himself. Rosenblatt also explains how nature and man went head to head together, one evil and one good.Clearly, the comparison between the man and nature is the elements and the human character.
