The prize would be two steers (bull). Robin Hood found out about the fair and doesn't care about the prize. Little John then offers to go to the fair and win the prizes for Robin. So Little John decides to ditch the Lincoln green and wears scarlet, and changes his name to Reynold Greenleaf as his disguise. Little John starts winning and bigger than anyone else and the ladies love him and people start buying him drinks even. He then wins both the Quarter Staff and Archery contest. As the sheriff starts noticing how good he is, he offers Little John at the castle with him. He wants to show him off so everyone can see how good he …show more content…
Robin then tells Little John to go fetch the cloth because he needs exercise and to get twenty scores (yard) of cloth. He decided to go to the Blue Boar instead and go to a place with a lot of memories of winning. Arther of Bland is the best archer and fighter in town. Little John meets with him and they end up getting into an argument which then becomes a fight.With Little John being out of weight, he looses the fight and argument. Back in the forest Robin goes to try and find Little John to make sure he gets the job done. He sees the fight going on and watches until his best friend looses. Robin then asks Arther to join his merry men, which he agrees to. After that, he tells Little John to go back and make sure the work is done. I learned so much from these few chapters. Robin Hood in my opinion is such a good person deep down. He has his moments where he can be hot headed and tempered, but in the end makes things
