The Miracle Worker By Captain Keller
“The Miracle Worker”- Captain Keller’s Opinion on Annie.

Contrary to Mr. Keller’s opinion, Annie is not a burden, incompetent, ineffectual or immodest. Annie is not a burden to anyone. She doesn’t ask others for help in anything and is very independent, never asking for anything, such as carrying her things. Annie is nothing close to being incompetent. She was once blind herself, but after attending a school for the blind and deaf, she knows how to teach sign language and was perfectly capable of helping Helen. Also, Keller stated that Annie was ineffectual, which isn’t true. Before one exceeds in their knowledge, they need to know the basics, so Annie decides to teach Helen how to properly communicate and show manners,
