The Monkey's Paw Book Analysis
The book contains three wishes for the character and this book is a happy and cheerful story. In “The Monkey's Paw” by W. W. Jacob contains three wishes but, the story is about horror . “The Monkey's Paw” is a horror tale because of the supernatural, suspense, and spooky setting.

The story “The Monkey's Paw” has elements of the supernatural, so it qualifies as a horror story. An example of the supernatural from the story is when Sergeant Major Morris told Mr and Mrs. White and their son Herbert about the paw. The paw is the element of supernatural in the story because it can grant wishes. Then he told them that the paw could lead them to bad outcomes of what they could wish for. As soon as the Whites heard this news they burst into laughter
