Abandoned House
It was a Thursday night and I was just getting ready to put my pajamas on and climb into bed when I heard a knocking sound on my window. I muted my TV and listened once more if it made that sound again. It did. I climbed out of my bed and peered out the window, it was my childish friend Drew throwing rocks at my window. I opened the window and tip-toed to my door and put my ear to the door to see if I could hear my parents talking. I didn’t hear a peep, so I quickly locked my door and went to my closet to grab some clothes, pocket knife, and a flash light and shoved it into my back pack. I grabbed the rope off my nightstand and tied it to my gutter outside my window and started climbing down the side of the house. When I reached about 3 feet from the ground I jumped and untied the rope and stuffed it in my back pack. I didn’t know what my friend Drew had in mind to do for tonight but I was about to find out.
We drove around for about 45 minutes and finally we stopped at this creepy house that had no lights on. My friend Drew parked the car on the side of the house, and we got out at the same time. When I stepped out of the car into a thick bush, it tickled my knees. We walked around the back of the house and shined the flashlight all around to see if we could see anything but unfortunately the flashlight only shone 5 feet in front of me so it did nothing. We found a door on the side of the house and jiggled the handle to see if it was open. It creaked open and I pushed Drew to walk in first. I was a little scared to walk in, but I couldn’t let my friends know that I was scared. We quietly crept around to see what was around us; we saw two rooms that were right next door to each other and a bathroom off to the side. A blinking red light was seen on the ceiling in the hall then a sudden beep, we all froze. We didn’t move until 10 seconds later the beep was heard again. “It is just the smoke
