problem may occur with the ethical consumption when company try to sell products instead of carring about customers. Other factor other than money the movie cover is sexual fantasies. As the globalization, today sexuality is treated comletely different back then. People are more open mind about sexuality, from different perspective, different point of view. As the movie rise the question is the sexuality facing the Catholic church is still contemporary? I think the answer is no. The movie also introduce the subject of working enviroment, besides money. In the workplace, working atmosphere plays an important role. It a ambitious and compative enviroment, require some certain effort to archive succeful. People want to be recognized in order to get award and fullfil company goals. In such an environment emloyees are likely to behave egoistic and denying to others who might be their rivals.
Movie #2: Supersize me In the movie supersize me, documentarian Morgan Spurlock experience the unhealthy eating plan by consume only McDonald for a month. The rules are eating every product on the menu at least once, taking three meals a day, walking less than 5000 steps a day and always ordering supersized menus if they are offered. The main purpose of the experience is examining the infuence of the fast food industry and the consequences of consuming unhealthy fast food. Documentary plays an important role in our society. It a powerful medium for filmmakers use it to talk about social issues, reflect and inform of what's really going on. Unlike most of the Hollywood films are too concerned about profit over the art, documentary films can be made cheaply but more focus on important issues. In addition, some claim that documentary has a positive impact on society because of how it influenced the audiences. For example as a response of the super size me movie, McDonalds did in fact remove their unhealthy “Super Size” option just six weeks after the release of this film. The McDonald's Corporation is the world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants, serving around 68 million customers daily in 119 countries. However, the famous franchise also appear as a corporation which does not care about customer's health but only about making as much as profit as possible. This is typical ethical dilemmas most companies have. They prefer to make huge profit in a short term but does not care about long term consequences. They does not provide any nutrion information and what effects their product does to consumer's health and bodies. In the movie super size me, after 21 days of comsumming only Mcdonalds fast food, Spurlock has heart palpitation, lost much of his energy during the day.
Besides McDonald, the documentary also points out how bad is the American habit in term of dieting. The experience prove that why most of the Americans have unhealthy diet plan, with many case of obesity. In addition, another issue that Spurlock focuses on is the way McDonald's targets young consumers with ads before the kids themselves realize how harmful the food is. Movie #3: Control room Control room offers a different approach to international perception of the Iraq War, with an emphasis on Al Jazeera's coverage.
In other world, control room can be consider a "further proof". Al-Jazeera willing to challenge and question everthing from Arab leaders to the United States , provides news for millions of people in the world. Indeed, the activists and journalists play important role to the media by telling the truths. The movie also raise the question:" is America profounding or securing the Arab world?" Control Room is a movie that pictures the role of the media and TV news in the art of modern war. In my opinion, one of the most interesting parts of the film are when an Al Jazeera reporter and a U. S. soldier discuss propaganda aspects of the war. They both have valid arguments and solid points. Control room want to points out that most of the war facts that reveal through the TV are using propaganda. Rather than telling the true behind what the media and military denial, Control Room also pictures the most compelling images of the Iraqi people which is so real. The movie expose some images of women and children crying, bleeding, and cursing the United States which leave a deep impact to the audiences. Believe it true or not, the fact that even Al Jazeera gets the infomation wrong sometimes. Howerver, they are effort to attempt to deliver relatively balanced
journalism. In my opinion, as long as people practice their ideology peacefully it should be no problem. The main point of the documentary is to get people thinking about the role of the media in shaping their perception and understanding of the Iraq War and whether their opinion is justified based on correct evidence or not. That might be the main reason why the government viewed them more as terrorists than activists and ultimately assaulted them.
