The anthropologists found evidence in which the scholar divided the prehistory in two ares, the first one was called the old Stone age or the Paleolithic perio and the Neolithic period in which people made important advances in technology.
Early modern humans were nomads and they lived in groups of 20 or 30 people, the survived by hunting and gathering, generally the men hunt and the woment gathered for fruit, grain and seeds. They made tolos from Stone, bone or wood ,they used the animals skins for clothing and developed spoken language.
They believed in afterlife and many of them believed that the world was full of spirits, and forces that might reside in animals, objects or dreams. These are known as animism.
This people learned that farming makes their lifes easier than been hunting and gathering because now they were able to settle down, this radical change form the nomadic life to settled farming is called Neolithic Revolution, it is called like that beacuse this causes such a great impact in the life of the nomadic people. They began domesticating animals and plants. The plants they gathered, they could plant it to supply more to their families and the domestication of animals helped them to use the animals for more than one purpose, they domesticated animals to use it also as transportationand to obtain milk and eggs.
The important advances lead to the establishment of people in a specific place this happened because now they didn’t have the need to move to another places because they were able to supply their own needs without moving from one place to another. Some of the villages were Catalhuyuk in modern day Turkey, it seems to have developed around 7000 B.C and may have a populaton of 6,500 people.
In settled farming men dominate the family, economic and political life, older men formed a council to made important decisions about when to plant and harvest, also new technologies
