The Person I Most Admire
Whenever people would ask, “Who did you look up to,” I was never positive who exactly it was. Growing up I always looked up to someone, whether it’s an actress, singer, or a fictional character, such as, Johnny Depp, Demi Lovato, or Cinderella. Today, if someone asked who I admire, I would reply my mother because she’s my hero, cares about her family, and taught me everything I know. Although, I still love my Disney princess movies, Cinderella, Snow White, and plenty more, whenever I’m with my mother she makes me feel like her little princess. I pictured her as my prince charming, rescuing me from a tower where a dragon guarded. She’s the shoulder I lean on when I’m depressed, the person who holds the key to my heart, she’s everything. First, the person I adore the most is my mother because she’s my hero. When I was growing up my perfect picture of a hero was in the movies and usually Superman, Wonder woman, or Captain America, but everybody told me “Those heroes don’t exit.” Nonetheless, they do exist and I have one living in my house called mom. She doesn't fight crimes, but she’s my savior because she’s the person I look up to when it comes to college, education, and being successful one day. My mom has astonishingly finished her Bachelor’s Degree, and Master’s Degree, and she’s my inspiration of going to college and being successful. Not only does she encourage me to fulfill my future dreams of education, but also present dreams like playing basketball. I appreciate my mom for being my hero who had two kids and still decided to go to college and encourage me in my dreams. Next, I cherish the way my mother cares for her family. My mom loves and protects her family, and some will even say, “My kids are the joy of my life.” Not only that, it’s a moms duty to keep a close eye of their family like a mama bird watches over her eggs before they hatch. Sometimes I feel like a little bird inside a hard egg being protected until it’s time for me to spread my wings

I have a lot of people I look up to, but the one person who stands out the most is my mother. She has taught me more things than anybody else I know. Things that I will keep with me for a lifetime. Like how to keep on pushing even though I feel like giving up. She taught me how to be confident and believe in myself and not to let negativity bring me down. She taught me early on that there is a difference between what I want and what I need and material objects aren’t everything but that doesn’t mean I can’t spoil myself from time to time. It has helped me to keep balance in my life so wouldn’t over spend on things I didn’t need.…

My mother Jeanne has always raised me on a tight leash and taught me to have morals, ethics, self-respect, and class about myself. She raised me and my older brother by herself for a long time, and we never really got to have the “Wonderful” mother/daughter relationship every little girl wants with her mother, but because of our relationship growing up it has made us so much closer now that I am an adult and have my own child. My mother is a big reason why I am the person I am today, I was always told I’m just like her and I wouldn’t have chosen to have it any other way.…

Many times in life, we come across a tough, influential person who leaves a great and powerful impact on our lives. Maybe it is an actress, superhero, family, teacher, or just a stranger who did something that changes your thoughts and decisions about life. Fortunately, I came across to someone who supported me from the very beginning of the journey of my life. That person is my beloved mother, who taught me to walk my first steps, who introduced me to the crazy side of life, and who has always been there for me when I needed her. Ever since I could remember, she has been right beside me supporting any goal I was trying to reach, even when it was incredibly ridiculous to everybody else. Sometimes we come across a strong, influential person who leaves a powerful impact in our lives. Luckily for me, I came across such a person from the very beginning of the journey of my life. My mother who taught me to walk my first steps, who danced and sang to me crazily just to see me smile, the one who has always been there for me as my support whenever I needed one, is my role model and has made an unforgettable impact in my life. Her perseverance gives me an inspiration to work hard and get the most out of my life. It gives me a goal to make her proud of her daughter the same way her daughter’s proud of her. Although my mother’s life story has influenced me positively, it isn’t the only way my mother has affected me. She has always been that I can be. Even through the troubled and awkward first year in the United States, she was the person who I looked up to as a role model, she took every obstacle thrown at her with determination and patience.…

Growing up I was always closer to my father than I was to my mother. People said it was because I was the youngest and therefore I was considered daddy’s little girl. That was partially the reason, but there was more to it than just that. It was mainly because my dad was such a sensitive and caring person, just like me. That does not mean that I love him the most but that I relate to him in a way that I can’t relate to my mother. My mother has always been the strict one in the house, which has caused me to always bump heads with her; however, that has not stopped me from admiring how strong and hardworking she has been for us.…

Mothers know and see everything; however, I never wanted to believe it was true. When I was short on money, needed a hot home-cooked meal or a shoulder to cry on, I would call my mother. I never took or valued my mother’s advice, but I always tried to learn from her mistakes. I failed to grow to my full potential when I had my mother to rely on. Few events in my 25 years of life demanded urgent self evaluation, maturity and reliance until the sudden passing of my beloved mother.…

She loves cooking foods on her own, and making her own recipes. She loves spending her time cleaning the house as always, reading books and teaching my little sister her lessons. If my mom was a food I can tell that she’s the most special one. She’s one of a kind and for me she’s the most unique and delicious food that I’ve ever tasted. And if my mom was a student, she…
