My mom is 45 years old but has the energy of a 20 year old. She is tall, a women who isn’t afraid to strut her stuff in a nice pair of heels. She has short black hair, and brown eyes that can definitely tell if you are up to no good. With a smile that can brighten the dimmest room. She was originally from Haiti but moved to the United States when she was sixteen years old. My mom is currently a BSN Nurse so that basically meant there was no away of getting way with acting like I was sick when I didn’t want to go to school. But when I was sick she was really good at taking care of me.
I have a lot of people I look up to, but the one person who stands out the most is my mother. She has taught me more things than anybody else I know. Things that I will keep with me for a lifetime. Like how to keep on pushing even though I feel like giving up. She taught me how to be confident and believe in myself and not to let negativity bring me down. She taught me early on that there is a difference between what I want and what I need and material objects aren’t everything but that doesn’t mean I can’t spoil myself from time to time. It has helped me to keep balance in my life so wouldn’t over spend on things I didn’t need.
One thing I admire about mom is her determination. No matter how bad things get, she finds the strength to push on. For example when I was younger my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer plus she was a single parent
