The Metropolitan Police are presented very negatively in this article. Stuart mentions one time where he was pulled over for no apparent reason and a police officer gave him the excuse that he ‘’looked suspicious.’’ And another time he was stopped on his way to work, and when he tried to explain to the officer that he would be late for work, the officer still insisted on going through his stuff.
The fact that they pull Stuart over because of his skin color makes them seem very discriminating and unreasonable. It shows us that they are just wasting their time on something pointless based on their personal opinions.
Stuart also says in the article that he thinks they should just stop wasting their time on him and go do their jobs properly and fight real crime instead.
