A lot of people dreams with having powers as superman and this book show us a point of view about it. Maybe most of the people could use their powers for good things but Carrie used them for bad because she was tired of how everybody treated her. This also show us how some people feels when it are rejected by the society. However, this story is really short, it needs more background , maybe Carrie’s mother could explained her where her powers came from ,there is not much story about Carrie’s father, the unnecessary Sue’s pregnancy which could be used for a second part by her last psychical conversation with Carrie, and I can’t understand how can someone die with a bucket. It’s a good story but it is not compared to other of his book, the author could added and removed some details.
I recommend this book for everybody because it show you how a person use his power but more for a young audience because it could show us how some teenagers feel when they don’t have people to talk with, when they are alone and sad, and it’s worse when they are passing by a bullying situation ,making you think about it. Maybe is not a girl who has telekinetic powers but currently there is many problems of violence in schools because of that. There is a big problem of bullying but together we can leave it
