Christopher Columbus was a man of many talents. As a young man he became very dedicated to the sea. He sailed with his brothers and father on small voyages as a young man. As he got older one of his first jobs was making and selling maps to sailors. (Puerto Ricco world history) When he had once become a man he wanted to look for many riches and valued materials. (Neil Schlager and Josh Lauer) This in fact had started to make him greedy. After many years he became known as one of the best navigators of the sea. He was known for navigating with the stars. Once he had become greatly known for his navigation and sailing skills. He decided that he wanted to sail west all the way around the world to Asia. Which he would try to bring back different types of riches back to Europe. But at that time many people thought that the earth was flat. But are they being told the right actions about him. There are many people who disagree of the learning and teachings of Christopher Columbus. Due to the bad and on rightful actions he has done. Many elementary schools teach the kids that Columbus is a hero and discovered America. But most of these facts are false. All around the country there are young children learning all about how Christopher Columbus is a hero. Which so many children have been learning false information about Columbus?
