The Pros And Cons Of Equal Pay
In 1963 the Equal Pay Act was passed making it illegal to pay a woman less than a man who is working the same job and hours, with an equal level of education, and the same amount of practical on the job. In 2010 (47 years later) the Paycheck Fairness Act was passed, woman all over the USA are STILL waiting to see the results of either.
So, why does a colored immigrant lesbian earn less? Well, some would say that this is just a myth, but it’s not. Woman in general earn $.77 for every $1 a man makes. This is a white woman, women of color earn even less than a white woman averaging $.56-.64 less than a white male. And yet women make up over_half the workforce. Because women make so much less a year they tend to work to an older age which means single mothers working to an older age is classified as a “Family Issue”. If a woman feels she is being discriminated against pay wise she has the right to challenge her employer, most women who challenge come from lower paying jobs and after challenging the find themselves out of a job.

This would be about everything, not just race and things like that. I think I prefer the later, because if we do nothing nothing will happen. Even if it’s not a very strong idea it would allow kids to learn about different cultures and things like that which (when they grow up) could give society a new face. I think the biggest enemy to this is the closed minded parents. The closed minded parents teach their kids “right and wrong” and leave no room for questioning. The kids of these closed minded parents grow up with this is this that is that mind set and go on to raise their kids the same way, it is a vicious cycle. Maybe there would be less closed minded people if we introduced this program to young
