The Pros And Cons Of Gun Control Laws
Most people have heard of the tragic shoting that happened on December 14, in Newtown, Connecticut. A depressed and insane gunman walked into Sandy Hooks Elementary and opened fire on children and teachers. He took the life of twenty-six innocent civilians before turning his gun on himself. Because of the shooting, gun control laws have been the center of political debate inside of the U.S. Most attention is focused on the United States proposed gun control laws announced yesterday by president Barack Obama.
Of the many policies being demanded by anti-gun advocates, very few were approved yesterday. Of the few things that happened, President Obama passed a total of twenty-three excutive orders strengthening existing gun laws. These executive
