The Pros And Cons Of Mass Human Migration

Contemporary issues are the apex of humanity, leading the study of them to be the best possible method to predict the future and to be able to measure the impact of current events.

A perfect example of a major event currently happening that will most definitely change the future of mankind, is the increase in human movement to different lands. In recent times the vast majority of these peoples are moving north, into Europe from various Middle Eastern nations, with their claim being they are escaping terror and ruin in the nations they once called their home. Although, this should be concerning to the vast majority of the people in the world today considering the times in the past that mass human migrations have happened. Initially, these
start with the mesh of cultures.

The diffusion of this new culture into the one already existing is incredibly worrying, as the vast majority of those moving into Europe are most definitely not looking to assimilate or even cohabitate with the indigenous peoples, becoming the dominant culture in the land they come to, rather than coexisting. Most of the individuals I would openly discuss this with would come to me and say that these fellow humans should hold their culture close to their hearts, and foster pride in it. I truly believe all peoples should be proud of their nation, heritage, traditions, and their lineages, as loving oneself and their ancestors is a truly noble cause, but the saying "When in Rome, do as the Romans do" is an absolutely great guideline. The largest downside though, is that these Romans are not proud of themselves whatsoever and instead harbor negative attitudes for their own roots. Weakened by self loathing and left unwilling, not unable, to protect themselves.

Now, these immigrants are mostly young men, moving to what they view as a new world with new possibilities, with saddest part of this being that the possibilities viewed are the possibilities to change the way of the Romans as opposed to being part of a preexisting society, and working with the infrastructure already in place.
The current leaders in these European nations have opened their borders, accepting all the self purported "refugees" and instead opened their borders to invite those seeking to take advantage of generous people with honest intentions. Instead of receiving the downtrodden, these nations are becoming the downtrodden as the crime rates increase exponentially, and all forms of humanitarian aid being rejected by the advancing legions of people.

The nations these people are fleeing do have their problems, with the majority of them being absolutely catastrophic. Just the people fleeing are not the people with the best of reason to. Their women and children remain in their homes, surrounded by chaos, while these young, strong men flee. This shows an agenda of selfishness, and a disrespect to their own people. These open borders of Europe are akin to a town removing a dam because the fish on the other side are eating one another.
The end result is the town destroying itself, all to save those that are almost entirely ungrateful for it or completely belligerent to
it.
