The first social determinant is social structure of the society into which one is born into. This individual would be considered to be at the bottom of the social hierocracy. This individual probably lives in a community with high crime rates attends schools with high drop out rates as well. This individual’s family probably doesn’t have the recourses for a college education. More than likely the individual will drop out of school to be able to help his mom afford the bills. He will find a blue-collar job, having to deal with heavy labor. This is probably the only job the individual can get since he dropped out of school and didn’t get and education. Which can lead to the individual being uneducated, still poor, and unhappy. He is at a higher risk of possibly committing a crime to try to survive. The individual will probably eventually get hurt at work, or sick and not seek the medical attention needed since he will not be able to afford the medical attention needed. Or if sent to the emergency room, he will probably be bankrupt due to not being able to afford the medical
