Having ink does not make any individual a bad human being. Times have changed a lot since the period in which tattoos were categorized for bikers or thugs. Good people can have tattoos. In the article, Martin justifies, “ It’s something that is sort of hitting close to home for me. Personally speaking, I am a university student who is seeking a professional career and I do have piercings and tattoos. I have experienced workplace stigma. In a recent sample at a university has found that seventy percent of women and twenty percent of men had body piercings of some type and more that a quarter had tattoos.” (Bill) The information obtained from this article concludes many people with tattoos have goals and dreams just as big as everyone else.
