Perfection is a much glorious quality, yet is completely unattainable. The desire for perfection stems from a desire to be happy, to live in an ideal existence and complete. And it could be imagined, disguised, poorly emulated, and foolishly impersonated. It's because we do not have a distinct notion of what perfection truly is, and when a person attempts to be 'perfect', they are usually transforming into seemingly perfect to their own perception. And, one will never attain 'perfection' as we have come to define or know it.
Thereafter, perfection is only a societal standard. Based upon the current definition of 'perfection' as established by society, perfection is in the absence of change. Say for example, if we were ever to become perfect, as according to this definition, there would be neither good nor evil, black nor white, mine nor yours. Science and religion tells us that opposing forces must always be present. For without opposing forces, how would we know which is which and what is what? If we were unable to tell, say 'good' from 'evil', we would then be. Opposing forces are always present, because there is always something changing and/or progressing. If we were to achieve 'perfection' then there would be an absence of change, progress and improvement.
Moreover, perfection is a fallacy, for our life is a learning process. If we were then to attain perfection, we are bound not to do mistakes and stop in the peak of our learning process. But in that case, it contradicts the belief of science, as according to the Sloan Digital Sky Survey into the Knowledge of the Expanding Universe, in which they stated that, 'The universe is in a constant state of change' It also builds up contradiction to the the teachings of the Bible in Hebrews 11:40, which stated, 'God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.' And therefore, it's never attainable into the reality in which everything changes
