Atticus is one of the most influential characters in the novel. He influences his children through his statements, his actions and the good examples he set for them. Throughout the novel Atticus was always correcting Scout and Jem's behavior, whenever he notices his children doing something that isn’t right, he always encourages them to do the right things and tells them the right way to go.
