In William Shakespeare's drama Romeo and Juliet, the person to blame for the deaths of both Romeo and Juliet is Friar Laurence. Throughout the drama, Friar Laurence makes not only one but three mistakes that all lead up to their deaths. He gave a hand crafted poison to Juliet, he trusted someone else with a letter of importance to deliver to Romeo, and he fled the scene at Juliet’s tomb, instead of trying to help her escape. When Friar Laurence made such terrible choices, he evidently doomed Romeo to his death, therefore leading Juliet to take her own life.
For one thing, Friar Laurence was a man of God, however the choices he made was not so godly. Friar Laurence made a huge mistake that he could of avoided, if only he had thought out his plan more precisely.
