Telemedicine has been used to transfer healthcare services to patients in remote locations. In addition to improving the interaction between patient and doctor, telemedicine also permits professionals and health services to develop their reach. Reducing the cost of health care is one of the main reasons for funding and adopting telemedicine technologies.
