The Role Of Totalitarian Leaders In WWII

Many factors formed WWII, from WW1 the aftermath to the great depression. In this specific instance, we will discuss what is considered the major factor that began the war; that is the rise of totalitarian governments. Totalitarian governments are governments that control the way the citizens act, think extra. Totalitarianism had three major figures that embraced this ideology who are Joseph Jughashvili better known as Stalin, Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. These three leaders played a huge role in the war, but how did these totalitarian leaders contribute in the wars start?
Each one of these leaders had a hand in the start of the war. Stalin took power after the death of Vladimir Lenin. He abused the Russian citizens killing everyone who stood in his way earning the name of Stalin, which means the man of steel in Russian. He used propaganda to brainwash the adults and school to brainwash the kids, which made him a totalitarian leader. He made a big mistake when he struck a deal Hitler and gave him a safety treaty that ultimately gave Hitler the green light to conquer other countries.
He used the idea of recovering German glory and economy simply persuading the German citizens and killing anyone who opposed him to fulfill his plans. Hitler was only worried about one issue that was being attacked from both sides so he struck a deal with the Russians and started his attack on other territories like Austria and abusing the League of Nations weakness. He started expanding more and more creating alliances with other totalitarian countries creating the Axis this eventually forced the Alliance to unite and try to fight him.
