The Similarities Between The Democratic And Republic Party

Each Democratic and Republic party write a document to establish how the party will govern. In the political platform, it outlines the priorities and positions on domestic and foreign affairs. It provides policy concerns and reforms. On one end there is a progressive platform established by the democratic, and on the opposite end, there is the platform run by the republicans based off of tradition. Both parties include issues they speak about in depth and issues that were vaguely mentioned. Some issues are highlighted when there is still a problem occurring and/or the party doesn't agree with the current course of action. Other issues may not have the same importance because they are already in the party's favor.
The democratic platform was composed and finalized by 187 members of the board. In the document they advocate for policies that are intended to move America forward. The main objectives were to raise income, create good paying jobs, restore economic security, promote equality and liberty for all,
They must decide to follow the republican ideology or go against it. Keeping in mind that republicans control the senate, the house, and two-thirds of the state legislatures; Democrats would like to cooperate, but they cannot do much – just hope Trump's extreme ideas do not become normalized. In order to surpass this ordeal, the party must rebuild itself completely; as history is documented, the democratic party has only weakened. The party is growing less and less representation throughout the states and national government, becoming extinct and without power. With the period of time occurring, Democrats should improve what they can and defend what they have, along with cooperating with the government. This is the time that they can look at issues from a different perspective, and build new effective
