The Sorrows Of Yamba And Negro Woman's Lamentation
Another poem by an abolitionist poet that focuses on sentimentalism and generating emotional responses from their readers is Hannah More’s The Sorrows of Yamba, or, the Negro Woman’s Lamentation.
