In its primeval residency existing way back in the 9th century, the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park otherwise known as Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR) has left a stupendous milestone creating a mark and becoming one of the most riveting sunspots known worldwide. This so called Underground River which may well be located in the Saint Paul Mountain Range on the Northern Coast of the Isles of Palawan, has gained incessant recognition throughout the whole year round since 2007 and has been a place wherein tourists from all over the globe stumble upon a location that is worth a feast for the eyes and a site for recreation.
Portraying its picturesque feature into the limelight, the park exhibits an artistic sense of landscape that can be seen evident from the horizon. First off, let us grasp a quick glimpse of what things likely would be when you explore the River Cave. Gaze at the external structures and you will definitely be able to say how impressive this massive form of nature has bequeathed upon us, inhabitants. With the major formations of stalactites and stalagmite rendering itself to beauty in the interior walls and floors of the cave and species of bats lingering around, you would find yourself immersed in the beauty of Philippine-nature. From there, we could also locate several large chambers, including the well-thought-out to be one of the largest cave rooms in the world, the 360-meter long Italian’s chamber with roughly a volume of 2.5 million square meters. However, along with the experience and exploration of Puerto Princesa’s Underground River, there still seems to be a mystery which is left to be unraveled in the near future. They have unleashed and sighted a bigger cave dome measuring 300 meters above the underground river, with incredible rock formations, larger bats, more river channels, marine creatures, and more.
