Those seeds contain enough nutrients for the seed to allow it to grow into a seedling. Other important tree species in the temperate deciduous forest are the Hickories, Walnut, Maple, Beech, and Sycamores. There are also many animal species in this biome. The most important include the Bald Eagle, Black Bear, Leopard, Fox, Hog, Otter, Mongoose, Warthog, Coyote, Bobcat Badger, Jaguar, Armadillo, White-tail Deer and much more.
