The Theme Of Freedom In Sarah J. Maas Throne Of Glass
The theme of Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, is freedom. Freedom is the theme of this novel is because all of the characters throughout the novel, not just Celeana, want some form of freedom. Obviously, Celeana wants freedom after being held at the salt mines of Endovier, and this is the main thing that steers the course of the novel. Freedom is also desired by other characters that you don’t really think are showing it, but if you really think about it, you can find a form of freedom they want. For example, the Crown Prince of Adarlan, Dorian, wants freedom from his father’s harsh ways and the freedom to be able to choose his own wife, not just some Lady of the Court who just wants the title, “‘ ...I can’t stomach the idea of marrying
