The U.S. aimed to restore the independence of countries in Central and Eastern Europe since a rapid stabilization of the situation in the war devastated areas could reasured the U.S. that its investments would be repaid. Not only it separeted the two countries but also led to the development of mass destruction weapons. And likewise any Cold War, it did not bring neither peace nor honor those who unleashed it.
