"I have a schedule prescription for each hour in the day; he takes care of me, and so I feel basely ungrateful not to value it more." This means her husband has a schedule of everything she would be doing each hour so she feels ungrateful not to value it more. The narrator's husband doesn't let her write or read. She carry a little book and write when her husband not around the house. Her husband doesn't let her do anything she cried cause nobody was listening to her.
