Psychological perspective can guide me to understand others behavior, because most people do act differently and certain people have different ways of doing things. Which in that case by me taking this class will help me along the way of me being a nurse. A nurse needs to know certain things about his or her patient in this case I will get to know a lot about behaviorism.
Theoretical perspectives are important to the field of psychology because, the psychologist need important things to go by. Also, they have to have things to guide them to help out their learning process. Next, they have to make sure their information is correct and they have to be for sure not to make one mistake in capture the things about people’s behavior.
The Psychodynamic perspective is the one I like most because in the 1940s and 1950s psychodynamic theory dominated the practice of psychotherapy and was influential in scientific psychology and the arts which this statement in one of the currents.
But for the history Psychoanalysis is the name of both theory of personality and the method of psychotherapy developed by the Sigmund Freud (1856-1939). As a theory of personality, psychoanalysis proposes that much of our lives are governed by unconscious ideas and impulses that originate in childhood. The psychodynamic theory caught on like wild fire and due to its explanatory power for human behavior, became very popular over the following century. Freud’s therapeutic method was called psychoanalysis was develop to identify the underlying conflicts between intrapsychic structure and resolve them by bringing them to
consciousness.
The workplace I am looking into is nursing and with that program you have to make sure you’re doing everything right with your patients with watching them making mistakes aren’t allowed and neither is bad behavior or attitudes. For me to focus on their behavior I would have to watch my patients close as well as my co-workers to make sure what’s being done is the proper way to be done. So behaviorism is the right thing to focus on and any workplace. Cause some patients aren’t in there right state of mind so you would really have to excuse their behavior and just smile to let them know that you’re ok and that you know they didn 't mean any harm. Being a nurse is a goal I wont to reach cause there are some patients that want love and attention cause they don 't have family that 's willing to do so, but yet I will give them the love in care they need.
The things that helped me out a lot during this assignment was the things we went over in class also my text books plus the notes with out the information that was giving to me. Yes I would be lost but thank god that I wasn 't lost on this assignment because getting notes and taking notes plus paying attention very well will help you along the way in put you on the right path to SUCCESS.
