A billing & collection system are combination of software and hardware that receives service usage information and group these information for the specific account of the customers. It also create reports of service usage and record payments consumed by the customer.
Psion is a meter reading device use by Balibago Waterworks System Inc. They have been using this kind of device for more than seven years to record the monthly water consumption of their customers, some of these devices have been worn out if not completely defective. Even though they are planning to replace them with new ones, the Psion is already not available in the Philippines. Because of that, the proponents want to propose a meter reading device using android smartphones that is real-time and because of its availability and efficiency. The information will be directly recorded in the cloud database of the system.
