In these days, time, effort and money are such vital things that have to be used efficiently to have a satisfactory outcome whatever work is to be done. Modern day technology makes life simple and easy in many ways. The internet, for example, is a very helpful tool for the students for research purposes. It also features online applications such as; Student Information System, Pre – Enrollment and grading system which are essentials in school transactions.
The St. Dominic School is receiving students from Nursery to Grade four (4). Eventually the school is having a problem regarding their enrollment transactions which takes a lot of time to assess their enrollees. The parents should fall in line to complete the transaction processes.
The proponents have decided to come up with the solutions to their problem. The Online pre – enrollment was opted by most of the proponents suggestions.
1.2 Overview of the Current State of Technology
The current transactions being practiced by the administrative staff to enroll their upcoming students is manual.
1.3 Project Rationale
The proposed pre-enrollment website is to provide the enrollees or parents to enroll their child in a particular school. The other features of the website is to provide necessary information regarding the school events, news feeds, student grades, ranking, and upcoming subjects to be taken the next school year, tuition fees, etc..
