For example, people not knowing others cultural customs could lead to conflict between them. They wouldn't know how to respect them and their customs so something may be said about them or their beliefs that happen to disrespect them. In the novel Mr. Brown explains to Akunna that his religion is superior than his and that his beliefs are right. Mr. Brown explains that “there are no other gods, Chukwu is the only God and all others are false” (Achebe 138). This pertains to the use of cultural differences because it shows that some people don’t know how to respect other people and their beliefs.
