American Revolution The American Revolution was one of the bloodiest wars ever fought on U.S soil. The war costed the lives of many noble patriots who gave their life to their new country they would found. The revolution has three main causes to the conflict that began this tremendous trouble. These were the three main causes of the American revolution; taxation, the Boston tea party, and the intolerable Acts. The American revolution didn't began until 1775. At the time the colonist were still trying to protect their rights from the British.
The townshend act of 1767 leveled the taxes on lead, glass, paper, and tea. This outraged the colonist because they had to pay extra for the everyday needs
