There were three main causes of the American Revolution. The Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, and the Intolerable Acts. These events all led up to the Revolution. Colonists rebelled against the British because of their anger with the King and fought against it. It was a very big event in our history which led to us gaining more freedoms and establishing ourselves as the United States of America. To begin with, there was the Boston Massacre.
