(Three major themes in hamlet through Act 1-3)
There are a lot more themes in hamlet but there are three major themes. Shakespeare made the first 3 acts of hamlet very good and when you think of themes there are more than three. But every act has their own theme to it and Shakespeare made it this way to show you what it like is or what’s happening in the act. In Hamlet Act 1-3 there are three major themes and there’s one major theme in each act.
The first theme in Act 1 is Mortality. The reason I chose this one was because in the beginning of hamlet there’s death. That death is hamlets dad and all hamlet thinks after that is death. So quote 2015 houghton Mifflin Harcourt, (Cliffnotes) in hamlets is “The weight of one’s mortality and the complexities of life and death are introduced from the beginning of hamlet”. The reason for madness is because after hamlet finds out his uncle killed his dad he starts to fake going madness. The quote from Copyright 1999-2015 GradeSaver LLC.
