Three Major Theoretical Perspectives
A macro-level theory is described as a large-scale relationships and to answer fundamental questions. The theories tend to be abstract and difficult. A micro-level theory is described as they cover only very specific relationships between individuals and small groups. These theories tend to be dependent on their context and are more concrete, like set and stone. This also means that they are more scientifically testable.
