The logos in this advertisement goes almost unnoticed. At the end of the advertisement the words, “#1 rated” are quickly said and flash on the screen. The logos is most appealing to the targeted audience, parents. The advertisement could have been more effective if the logos given was expanded on and better explained. The customers want to know why Tide PODS are the number one rated brand. This advertisement could have appealed to parents buying detergent a lot better if it had included statistics, such as Tide PODS uses 3 in 1 technology to remove stains, brighten clothes, and clean the laundry (Tide PODS Laundry Detergent Original Scent). Another piece of essential logos that almost goes unnoticed is “keep out of reach of children”. This is probably the most important piece of logos in this whole advertisement because children’s lives are at risk because of the unnoticeable logos. The Tide PODS look similar to candy so when children see them, they assume its candy and eat it. Consuming Tide PODS has resulted in children going to the hospital to get their stomach pumped. Statistics from USA today stated that “During 2012-2013 an average of one child a day was sent to the hospital because of Tide PODS” (Painter). This health concern has caused Tide PODS to lose sales over time. These problems should be addressed in the commercial, but
