Til It Happens To You Analysis
Despite facing comparisons about her Grammys David Bowie tribute performance with that of Lorde's Brit Awards tribute, nothing can stop Lady Gaga from reigning the stage as she is set to perform on the 2016 Oscars with Vice President Joe Biden to do her introductions.

Gaga will be performing her hit song “Til It Happens to You” during the ceremony on February 28. Biden will be there to introduce the star as he highlights the issue on campus sexual assault.

The "Til It Happens to You" track is a nominee for best original song award against contenders like “Earned It” by The Weeknd from Fifty Shades of Grey and “Writing’s on the Wall” by Sam Smith from Spectre. It was also featured in The Hunting Ground which is a documentary that deals with

Jill Biden, has always been outspoken about sexual violence and domestic issues since he drafted the Violence Against Women Act when he was still a senator, NBC News reported.

Meanwhile, the American Horror Story Hotel star recently expressed her support to Kesha who is currently having a legal battle with Sony's music producer, Dr. Luke, due to physical, mental and sexual abuse.

"The very reason women don't speak up for years is the fear that no one will believe them or their abuser has threatened their life or life of their loved ones/livelihood in order to keep their victim quiet and under control," Gaga wrote in an Instagram post to support Kesha with the hashtag #StopVictimShaming, according to Rollingstone. "What happened to Kesha has happened to many female artists, including myself, and it will affect her for the rest of her life."

This year, the "Edge of Glory" singer is nominated for an Oscar for the first time. She was also a nominee in this year's Grammys for the Best Song Written for Visual Media. The 29-year-old songstress made a huge impact when she performed her tribute to David Bowie with a collection of music that included the songs “Changes,” “Rebel, Rebel,” “Space Oddity” and “Let’s

In Janelle Monáe’s “Hell You Talmbout” she talks about people living in poverty. She first starts with the first verse saying that in poverty there is a lot of violence, from bombs being thrown, guns being pulled out, and a body lying on the streets from police brutality. In the chorus she repeats “Now what the hell you talking ‘bout?” this could be seen as Janelle speaking to an outsider who does not see all the violence and poverty, while those who live in those conditions experience it every day. In the second verse, Janelle addresses the topic of how fast drugs are traveling in poverty and how they are stealing from one another to get money for drugs. In the line “the poor man eats off of the rich men’s dollar,” Janelle refers to how many…

    Beyonce Fan Ethnography

On March 18, 2013, Beyonce Knowles-Carter leaked a song called “Bow Down,” where she instructed all of her competitors to bow down before her. In her estimation, there was no competition, she was aware of it, and anybody practicing in her arena was aware of it too. More importantly, her legion of adoring fans knew it as well. The song leak served as a stark contrast to what Beyonce had recently become known for releasing. Instead of the ballads of romance, anthems of girl power, unity and triumph, or the militaristic pronunciation of confidence and ego, this track releases scathing criticism and pompous boast over all of her contemporaries. The deviance from what normally typifies Beyonce’s sound and message did not extend to her fan base; this is to say that the reaction was largely the same. Regarding anything that has to do with Beyonce, there was instant conversation started. As an outsider who does not consider myself as a “lover” or a “hater” of Beyonce, I saw artifacts and texts everywhere that I went. On social networks, there were links sharing the song. There were comparisons between the newest song and previous singles from her catalogue. There were images that exulted Beyonce to a place of worship and then there were parodies of these said images. Blogs dedicated special release posts to discuss the piece. In person, I heard the song emanating from…

At the moment there are countries that do allow women in their combat units like Labia, Israel, and possible Australia. Some countries go to the extreme with what they believe their women can and can’t do. For example, in countries like Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and others, the people believe that women were created just to serve and please the men. Women in these countries have no say in society or at home; they are supposed to cook, clean and have kids and that’s it. These countries are far from allowing their women to be in their military,…

The reporting structure is a very important tool in an organization. This structure is a chart that serves as a roadmap of management levels and positions. Every business has a chain of command and it is structured uniquely, depending on the organization. The structure of an organization, if not built correctly can destroy the organization just like a building with poor architecture. The blueprints clarify and build a strong foundation in which to grow or build an organization. Chipotle is a Mexican Grill Restaurant in the fast food industry that started out with one location in Colorado back in 1993. Today it has just more than 1,400 locations in the United States, Canada, England, and France. The structure of this organization has had to change and adapt to the growth of the business over time. Like a majority of businesses and organizations the vertical organizational structure is similar with multiple levels of hierarchy. At Chipotle, the top of the pyramid is fulfilled by the board of directors whom have the ultimate responsibility of making decisions for the entire company (Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., 2010). At the bottom of the pyramid there are the store managers, assistants, shift managers, and employees completing the everyday operational tasks that brings in the money. Between these two levels there are district and regional managers seeing over the many locations spread out across America and beyond.…
