Sho, a twelve-year-old boy, and his sister Saya, seventeen, were left alone when their parents died in a business appointment overseas. They were left with billions of cash and a home from their parents’ mining business, so surviving was not a problem but living would be tough for the orphan siblings. They had to hold onto each other tightly more than ever, for all that’s left is their bond.
Sho has only one friend who always listens to his problems; gives him advice and a bright smile. Her name is Namie; they spend every time playing together, going outdoors, telling stories about their dream futures and of course listening to him play the piano. But Sho has a burden that he has been carrying on his back for quite a long time. He has leukemia. So they had to be extra careful whenever going outside for Sho’s condition was delicate. He burns out of energy fast and gets extremely high chances of excessive nosebleeds and fever. But despite all of these Namie seemed to love Sho just the way he was. She would take care of him whenever Saya was out, stay with him when he’s sick in bed and everything. She was indeed a great friend. Probably the best for Sho.
Saya, likewise has a friend she cherish, Shuji. He is a childhood friend, classmate and most likely Saya’s first love. But as the days go by since the death of her parents she spends less and less time with Shuji and more time looking after Sho. Before was home, school, Shuji, mall with Shuji, park with Shuji, then home but now it’s more like, home, school, sneak a quick look at Sho in his school, follow him to wherever he’s going and ran home before he could. Something just felt that
