There are multiple views on the application of ginkgo for tinnitus, none conclusive though. During the 80's & 90's many researches were conducted but hampered by traditional methods no result gave much outcome. A recent highly structured study reported no benefit. We would require more well planned study to come to a final conclusion.

4 different Ginkgo Boiloba extracts were taken for use, like pills, injections or drops and every day dosage dissimilar in every trial. As per studies the benchmark was set for inclusion but it was made sure that all the trails had patients had at some point in time reported to have persistent or chronic tinnitus. In the process of trials the treatment time varied.
The end result had no effects from the variations that were there in dosages. Ginkgo Biloba extract has had a positive influence on Tinnitus if not a complete claming and curing effect.
