Tipping A Market Strategy: USA Today
The process of developing a market strategy that is one hundred percent effective is not easily accomplished (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014). However, I would start by identifying strategies that would grow my target audience and amplify my brand awareness. Secondly, conduct a meeting with each department involved on the project, while explaining the task that has been assigned. I would want to discuss and develop a strategy that is accepted and understood amongst my team members. Each member will play a vital role in the implementation of this project. Focusing their strengths and utilizing their input will afford me the proper guidance to achieve my goals. These departments may include and (are not limited to): IT, Market Research, and Communications. …show more content…
I want to know what my target audience wants, and how I can get that to them in an inexpensive but effective manner. I would want to pin-point the strategical advantages USA Today has over the competition to continue our growing success into the new project. I would exploit what has made USA Today competitive within the newspaper industry. Marketing decisions, as describe in Chapter 1, explain the importance of product, price, distribution, and promotion. According to MaRS Discovery District, by following this marketing-mix, I can accomplish my company goals while reaffirming USA Today’s core value and brand loyalty
