Aaron is Tamora's secret lover and the mastermind behind the plot to destroy the Andronicus family.
He is also a psychopath that enjoys making people suffer. He is another example of how there is no limit of revenge in “Titus Andronicus” because he is the very reason why there were many murders and violent scenes in the play. Aaron said, “The forest walks are wide and spacious, and many unfrequented plots there are fitted by kind for rape and villainy…”[II.2.114-116]. In this quote, Aaron tells Chiron and Demetrius his plan for them to rape Lavinia and to kill Bassianus in the forest. This is related to his plot of destroying the Andronicus family because Lavinia is the only daughter Titus
has.
Titus is Rome’s revered general who has given Rome victory only. He wants to live the rest of his old days peacefully. But he couldn’t because he made the mistake of making Saturninus emperor instead of Bassianus. After that, many horrible things such as murders, mutilation and trickery happened to him. He went from a revered general to a insane man that hungered for revenge. After the trial of his son's’ alleged murder of Bassianus, Titus gets revealed the truth of what really happened. Lavinia, wrote with her mouth and told who actually murdered Bassianus and made his two sons executed for no wrongdoing[IV.1.46-69]
Titus, Aaron and Tamora, they all did something of pure evil that should never be done. They all murdered people and some of them framed innocent people. Tamora committed adultery with Aaron and they had a baby. Aaron killed Bassianus and plotted for Lavinia to be raped so he could end the Andronicus family. But he might have tried to end their family for fun because he loves inflicting pain. Aaron is a sadist. Then there is Titus. He wanted revenge on Tamora and her family for making him kill his son. He wanted revenge because his two sons were executed from a falsely accused murder. He also lost one of his hands from Aaron and Tamora’s scheme. But how would this bloody, violent revenge play out in the present world?
