One of the primary characters who shows how labels affect people is boo radley. First off, a rumor that “boo radley bit off his mothers finger one night, when he couldn’t find any cats or squirrels to eat (lee 39). The evidence selected gives an example of how the children in school think of boo radley. So they all become afraid of him and thinks of him as a monster of some sort. Then as the character scout has seen some “tinfoil that was sticking in a knot hole. Just above my eye level winking at me in the afternoon sun. I stood on tiptoe nastily and once more then reached into the knothole and withdrew two pieces of chewing gum minus the gum wrappers and indian head pennies.
