To Kill A Mockingbird Timed Write
Why does our surrounding matter depending on what we want to be or who we want to be? The character is saying that wherever we are, weather if it's school, work, or even at home we are still being surround. That leads to those people changing our lives in many different ways, physically and emotionally. No one will really know what's going to happen tomorrow, next week, or even next month. Overall if we want to find out what we want to be or who we want to be, we have to figure out the people around us first to able to know ourselves better.
This story of “To Kill a Mockingbird” shows us that we surround ourselves with are very important because those people can make a big influence in our lives. For example, when Scout was younger she was very innocent, and Atticus was kind of like her guide me since he taught her many things like keeping her fist down because fighting doesn't get you anywhere. In Chapter 14, pg. 135 when they were talking about “rape” situation on who did it, or what that situation was going to lead to. At that moment Scout spoke up to as Atticus “What’s rape? I asked him that night” that kind of spoke out as if she wasn't so surrounded by these type of people who blames one another because of color, she wouldn't

He setted great examples of what is right and wrong towards the kids. That’s the type of influence that the kids will need in their life if Maycomb is going to stay as what it is now.
The people that you surround yourself is very important because they will leave a big effect in your life as you make decisions that you'll make in the future, and that effects on who you are and what you want to be as well. That’s why getting to know the people around you first will make it easier for you to figure out who you will be or want to be in the near

    Do you ever feel like you can’t make your own decision, because of the thoughts of those around you? Have you ever thought that the decisions you make in life is based on someone else’s thoughts. Do you feel like you’ve changed and become someone different because of those you supposedly belong to? There are milestones in life that change you to be the person you are supposed to be.
