I deeply desire that this article would impact your thinking towards the Youth of Today, their potential and capabilities and what they mean to India. I believe that the youth of today are the symbol of strength and power of our nation.
Someone has rightly remarked and I quote, “Youth is the joy, the little bird that has broken out of the eggs and is eagerly waiting to spread out its wings in the open sky of freedom and hope. Youth is the spring of Life. It is the age of discovery and dreams.” How true!!
While in the words of an English poet, “Youth is not a time of life but a state of mind, a temper of the will, a quality of imagination, a predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease.”
I believe that the phases of being a youth are the formative years of an individual in this world. They are the most sensitive times of life where most of the individual’s personality is developed. It is the sudden surge of strange feelings as a result of a new-fangled experience of freedom. Their lives are regulated more by moral feeling than by reasoning — all their mistakes are in the direction of doing things excessively and vehemently. They overdo everything — they love too much, hate too much, and the same with everything else.
Night outs, lounging in the pubs, tapping your feet to the rocking music in discs, showing off 8 GB i-pods, N-Series mobiles, Levis jeans and Woodland shoes are among the first images which come across to one’s mind when they think of the youth of today.
Today's youth are embarking on a new era of things the previous generation didn't have. Technology is moving so fast that changes the face of activities that our youth partake in.
