Tom Hank Research Paper
My project is about a man named Thomas Jeffrey Hanks, better known as Tom Hanks. Tom Hanks is known as the icon of movie productions and entertainment. He is most definitely one of the most notorious actors of all time. He is also known for his nature of giving towards the holidays to the needy and less fortunate. I think that Tom Hanks is a great actor and a good example of a hard worker.

Thomas Jeffrey Hanks was born in Concord, California on July 9, 1956. He was a middle child with one older sister Sandra Hanks and brother Lawrence Hanks and one younger brother Jim Hanks. Tom only lived in California for 4 years before his parents divorced in 1960. As a kid Thomas was sort of geek, “I used to “I was a geek, a spaz. I was horribly, painfully,

Tom said, “when he saw the script he knew it was gonna be one of those films that people would never forget.

Tom Hanks is a man of adventure in all of his movies. But wasn't really crazy about making Blockbuster hit movie series Toy Story. When John Lasseter came to Hank about the job he loved the opportunity to work with great actors like Tim Allen, Don Rickles, ect. The thing that made Tom so hesitant is that he had never been in whole animation movie before and loved the idea.

My Interview On December 16, 2015 I asked a filmmaker and producer Corey Branch what he thinks about Tom Hanks. He said that, “Tom is a great all around actor and the things that he has done to this industry is amazing. Given the fact that he has change the game completely.” He also compared Tom to Michael Jordan. He stated that, “Tom is the Michael Jordan of movies and that is is one of the most influential people in the filming field hands down.”

Tom Hanks is hands-down one the greatest actors of this generation. His legacy of movies and inspiration is incredible. He is still making movies and acting out his career day by day, and he will never be

The crew, sitting in the crowd or watching on TV, and Lastly everyone who came out and saw the movie. Theres three things I want to talk about today, first thing is the challenges we faced to get here, second is the meaning of this award, and lastly is the larger significance of this award. What it means to the world. So first off, challenges. We faced many including finding the right crew members, right sets but I think the main challenge we faced was people doubting me. The movie, Philadelphia, was an excellent example of the severe discrimination many people with Aids are exposed to. In this instance the main character, Andy, was also gay. Unfortunately, in our society, he was faced with a double whammy. The gay issue is controversial enough, but to compound that in the work force with having Aids would be almost unbearable for any person to cope with. Tom Hanks played Andy with a serious need to communicate to the viewers how everyday life, work, emotions and mental well being are affected by this kind of situation. The movie was well cast and thoughtfully portrayed Andy's serious predicament. The theme was very interesting. It made me realize how lucky I am to not have to deal with those kinds of problems.…

If I had to give an award to the best actor in this film “Job” it would have to go to Ashton Kutcher. Ashton played the role of main character Steve jobs, Ashton was able absorb many of Steve mannerisms such as the way Steve spoke with his hands to the way he walked. Something I was surprised to see from Ashton was how he played the part with so much emotion ad passion. You cannot forget the great acting by the support role Josh Gad. Josh did a great job in playing a funny type role in the beginning and then towards the end a very serious and passionate role. I also have to give a round of applause to the director in picking the actors. At the end when the credit were rolling they had picture of the actor and the actual people they played and they all looked identical.…
