Utilizing the information in the Chemalite case, the team should record all of the transactions into the accounting equation. Then, the team should create the four financial statements as of the end of the first year of operations. The financial statements should be in good form and be attached to the paper.

The paper should have a cover sheet that lists the name of the case, the names of the team members, and the date the paper is due. The paper should be double-spaced, 12-point type, and no more than 1,000 words of narrative. References are encouraged and should be in APA style.

The paper should be in APA style, although an abstract is not required. The paper should have an introduction that states the subject of the paper and the plan of the paper to discuss the subject. Then the body of the paper should follow the introduction, and the paper should have a conclusion that summarizes the findings of the paper without introducing any new information.

The thesis of the paper should be the decision of the team to recommend continued operations of Chemalite or if the company should be shut down. The body of the paper should be the two or three or four main reasons that support the thesis. The reasons that comprise the body of the paper should be based on the financial statements that the team has generated, and the arguments of the past results and future hopes of the firm.
